3. Offer and conclusion of contract
The presentation of courses in the catalogue does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order. By completing the checkout process, you submit a binding offer. The contract is concluded with our order confirmation and/or the provision of access.
4. User account
A user account is required to access courses. Login credentials must be kept confidential and must not be shared with third parties.
5. Prices, payment, invoices
All prices are in EUR and include statutory VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment is made via the payment methods offered at checkout (e.g. Stripe/PayPal). You will receive an electronic invoice.
6. Provision of digital content
After successful payment, course access will be activated in your account. Unless stated otherwise in the course description, access is granted for an unlimited period, subject to Section 10 (Rights of use) and Section 11 (Availability).
7. Right of withdrawal for digital content
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal. However, this right may expire if we begin performance of the contract after you have expressly agreed that we may begin performance before the withdrawal period expires and you have confirmed your knowledge of the expiry of the right of withdrawal (§ 356(5) German Civil Code). This is transparently requested during checkout.
7a. Refunds and returns
In addition to the above provisions, our Refund and Returns Policy applies and forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
8. Warranty
Statutory warranty rights apply. We do not owe any specific learning outcome. Content may be updated for quality assurance.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise, liability is excluded.
10. Copyright and rights of use
All course content is protected by copyright. By purchasing, you receive a simple, non-transferable right of use for your own learning. Passing on, reproducing, making publicly available, or any other use beyond the purpose of the contract is prohibited.
11. Availability, maintenance
We strive to ensure high availability of the platform. Temporary restrictions may occur due to maintenance, security updates, or disruptions beyond our control.
12. Term and cancellation for subscription models (if offered)
If a subscription is booked, the terms and cancellation periods stated in the offer apply. Cancellations can be made in the user account or in text form addressed to us.
13. Data protection
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
14. Online dispute resolution & consumer dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
15. Applicable law, jurisdiction
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is our registered office.
16. Final provisions
Should individual provisions be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain effective. Amendments and supplements must be made in text form.
